Each MeritMade Essentials piece is individually soldered, cut, sawn, filed, sanded, and polished by both Kelly and Tawni in our Kansas City studio from recycled sterling silver wire and sheet. These are meant to be worn and loved every day, everywhere.
About the artist - Kelly Conner received her BFA in metalsmithing at the University of Kansas. After graduating, she worked as an apprentice for a well-respected Kansas City jeweler for two years. She left metalwork for almost a decade to work in the corporate sector. She returned to her artisan roots and the metalworking trade in 2014. She founded MeritMade and hasn’t looked back! When Kelly isn’t at the bench making beautiful creations, she teaches jewelry making workshops and shows her work at art fairs, galleries and events around the country.
